Welcome to IEEE Pakistan Student/WIE/Gold Congress 2009
IEEE-SEECS believes strongly in the strength of Community and exchange of technical knowledge on all possible forums with our fellow IEEE student branches and individuals. This is a platform for the young engineers to explore their abilities in the light of latest technology and to show them to the rest of world. (This is a parallel activity comprising different Training Sessions, Seminars, Workshops, Think-tank forum for the betterment of Pakistan). The primitive purpose of this congress is to bring together all the student branches in Pakistan and inculcate the idea of community and sharing of knowledge of issues pertaining to IEEE. It is deemed to provide a productive national forum discussing the technological challenges faced by Pakistan. It is worth mentioning here that the Congress shall be held in parallel with the NUST Olympiad 2009. Thus, the participants of the congress shall be able to follow the NUST Olympiad 2009 proceedings as well.
In 2007, the IEEE-PSC 2007 was conducted by FAST (NUCES) Karachi Campus in-cooperation with IEEE Karachi Section. In 2008, the IEEE-PSC 2008 was conducted by GCU Faisalabad Campus in-cooperation with IEEE Lahore Section.

As Chair PSC'09, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all who have pre-registered for PSC'09. Currently around 130 people have positively affirmed their presence in PSC'09. This is not only a matter of great pride for IEEE N SEECS and me, but also an indicator of the pre-event success. I would also like to take this opportunity to ensure you all once again that PSC'09 will not only be a highly informative session to take your student chapter to great heights, but also a fun packed event that would be remembered for years. Looking forward to even greater participation and thank you all once again!
